Boeing to Highlight Defense Capabilities, Sustainability and Partnerships at CANSEC 2024
- E-7A demonstration trailer will make its debut at CANSEC
- Visitors can experience the T-7A simulator
OTTAWA, Canada, May 17, 2024 — Boeing’s [NYSE: BA] exhibit at CANSEC 2024, Canada’s leading defence, security and emerging technology event, will focus on military capabilities that can address the Canadian Armed Forces’ requirements for an airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) system, the Future Fighter Lead-In Trainer project, and the helicopter modernization program, in addition to industrial partnerships, sustainability and services.
Boeing’s E-7A demonstration trailer, which is equipped with mission crew consoles and a B737-NG flight deck simulator, will be at CANSEC for the first time. Recently selected by NATO, the U.S. Air Force and the United Kingdom’s Royal Air Force as their next generation command and control aircraft, the E-7A AEW&C is a combat-ready aircraft that brings lower operating and sustainment costs, higher mission readiness rates and unmatched interoperability among a growing global user community.
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the T-7A Red Hawk simulator in Boeing’s exhibit. The T-7A is the only next-generation trainer that possesses military certification and meets modern training, low-cost needs. Its digital design enables the cost-effective integration of advanced training capabilities that will drastically improve pilot training for the next generation of fighter and bomber pilots.
In addition, Boeing will have an interactive defense sustainability site that illustrates how Boeing supports Canada, the U.S. and allied forces around the globe in achieving their sustainability goals.
